Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

From the coast to San Cristobal

We drive today from the coast, Juchitan, where we have spent the nite at a Pemex gas station, through the most amazing mountains, idyllic valleys and plains, climbing several thousand feet with stunning views and bucolic (Bridget's word of course) towns, farms, country pueblos.

We finally arrive in San Cristobal in time to explore Centro, go to yet another fabulous marketplace, and stumble into yet another womon running a veggie oil bus with her son and his friends!

We have a great time but get stuck looking for our camping place after dark - driving down tiny unsigned roads, through masses of traffic, up and down hills - and finally luck out - I mean REALLY luck out, and find our campground - will blog more about this later!
