Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Entering Louisiana!

We finally leave Dallas, heavily laden with bio diesel and gas, finally giving up on reaching the 100% biodiesel folks. We cross the state lines and stop at the gorgeous - modern, several large buildings of spotless bathrooms and hot water even sinks - large rest stop and find a nice quiet place to spend the night.

This morning, we head for Shreveport. We are unsuccessful finding other activists in Shreveport but we find an army reserve center where we banner on three corners. We received not one fuck you, even though at least half of the drivers and passengers were uniformed military - but we received quite a few positives!

A halliburton truck pulled into the gas station across from our protest, the fat white driver scowling at us. I asked him if war has been good to him and he beamed, nodding enthusiastically.

Oh well, on to Mississippi
!
