Yikes - fuckin xspace closes campground....GRRRRRR

It's twilight zone - a sheriff's car blocks the route to Boca Chica Beach where folks can camp for free while enjoying the waves of the Gulf of Mexico and the sandy beaches. I'm PISSED - it's bastard e.m. who is going to do something with his billions project based here so the road to the beach is closed today and tomorrow - it MIGHT open tomorrow nite but then close again the next day.

So I'm stuck driving another 25 miles back north to South Padre Island. I could stay at the walmart or a gas station but who wants that? I want a beautiful place on the beach so off I go - and a beautiful place it is. I'm camped for two dayz on the county campground which is about $45 more than I intended to spend for these two days. But I can walk to the beach and then hike along the shore. The sand is packed down solid and although the campground is ugly, I'm camped close to the bathrooms YEAH - and they have a lovely, hot shower.

Also, I'm re-painting the back of my truck. I decided to paint over the gender critical statement instead of the "disarm" part - I couldn't bring myself to paint over that after the most recent mass killings.
