Young interracial lesbian couple!!!!

This morning I'm standing outside my camper with my breakfast, coffee, water - everything I need to make the 2 hour journey to my veg oil guy's shop when a pickup truck pulls in next to me.

The young white womon driver sticks her head out the window to say her & her partner really wanted to meet me. She went on to talk about how great it is to see someone else who believes the same things they do. She said they were following me down the highway last nite & pulled over into the same rest area, hoping to connect in the morning.

These two sistars are homeless, living in their truck with their two dogs. Both are working full-time but still can't afford a place to live.

We talk for a long time - so long the breakfast I had cooked for my road food was totally cold, but never did I care. They were probably late for work, but it mattered too much to both of us to stop what we were on our way to do in order to talk.

It was soooo empowering not just to know there are young womyn who are woke - struggling but woke - but who also believe they want to be like me when they grow up! Hmmmm

I like that but I love them. Both in their 20's, both holding each other together, both working hard to figure out what is important in this life, in this country, in their loving relationship.

And both inspiring me to keep keepin on!
