Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Not in my community

I have been unable to scientifically keep track of the number of yeahs, nays, fuckus, and other responses as I am traveling with one very verbal womon and one deaf womon, who are getting most of my attention.

But the general feeling is one of very positive response with the very small negative response nevertheless heavy with white male rage. The fuckus seem angrier and more personally directed, although the ‘conversations’ with these white men have been very limited thus far. They seem content with keeping their distance.

Pulling into Atlanta, we are greeted enthusiastically on the road and in the stores. We have yet to run into any other Social Forum goers, but the general Atlanta public is still warmly entrenched on the side of peace and ending war.

Everyone seems to be informed about the recent horrific betrayal of the democrats in congress. People seem open to the idea of a Summer of Protest, although no one has said “yes, I will start this in my community”.
