Will it not mean we are set back decades at least if the likes of John McCain or heaven-forbid Mike Huckabee are elected? McCain with his bomb bomb bomb Iran giddiness?

Regardless of this presidential election, will this mother of ours ever forgive us?

For allowing all that has been going on in our name - the building of this world domination, the inequities that cause such suffering in our own country, racism, sexism, classism, all the isms, the greed normalized that allows us to consume so much and CHEAPLY without having to concern ourselves with who is suffering so we can have CHEAP and tons, the determination to continue and protect our lifestyles, our jobs, our homes, the neighborhoods we live in, without regard to who is suffering - to continue going on in our name: all the atrocities that are perpetuated daily, moment by moment, that we are complicit in, whether we consciously decide to commit them or whether we commit them de facto.

Will we ever change our lives and life styles so we can begin to forgive our very own selves?
