Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Nellis AFB Day 2, Last Stop before Creech!

We arrive at Nellis a good 20 minutes late due to traffic and a pottie stop! Tons of press and the awesome Las Vegas Peace Community folks, from Pace E Bene, Nevada Desert Experience, WILPF, and other CodePINKers are also protesting, awaiting our arrival!

We join everyone with our banners and signs, and begin singing and chanting.

Several CodePINKers speak on the bullhorn spreading our message of NO DRONES and NO SURGE to the press, the police who have begun to arrive in large numbers, and the passers-by. The press stick around, interviewing Cindy and others, taping our singing and chanting.

We make the local news around Las Vegas!

We urge soldiers again to RESIST, REFUSE, DON'T GO! Many hear; hopefully many will heed as well.

Even though the police are now lined up in great numbers along the frontage road - a good 30 feet from where we are demonstrating - they make no attempt to approach us or to tell us we are on 'visitor' land! We ignore them, they stand guard.

Do you guys not have something more productive to do with your lives than to harass our military? The personnel at Creech AFB are valuable assets to the military as all of our military installations air, ground and sea that are doing their jobs in defending your rights and your lives so you can sleep at night in your warm beds and spend holidays with your families. You should be supporting these soldiers, not condemning them. How dare you! How dare you say you "support" the military! What kind of message do you think you are sending our soldiers who are giving everything they have, sometimes even their lives for you!!!! What kind of message do you think you are sending to our enemies?? The ones who want to kill you and all Americans? All of you protesters targeting any military installation should be ashamed of yourselves. Yes I am a proud military Mom and Aunt and I despise the message you are sending our military. You are a disgrace.

Why do you insist on labeling yourself to the extent that you do. Labels free us from the labor of thinking rationally on each issue.

They are protesting the murder of innocent people halfway across the world. Wedding parties, children, and even the individual that Mr. Obama selects for rubbing out each Tuesday has not been charged with any crime, in violation of the 5th amendment which says no PERSON shall be deprived of life without due process of law. Sorry if you think murder is just fine, as long as you do not have to clean up the body parts, or the people wear funny clothes.

"I am a proud military mom, proud that my son is risking his life inside a hot trailer to defend all the we hold dear" - namely the right to steal oil from muslims and pay workers at walmart minimum wage, so the Walton children can look down from the private jets.
