Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

I'm leaving on a 60th year Joiyssey! Reason #1

My mother died at the age of 52; my sister died at the age of 57 - both from breast cancer.

I'm turning 60 this year and I just can't believe it. And I'm cancer free!!!!

I have decided for this reason - and many more to follow - I will convert part of my truck into a living space and then head south as far as I can drive!

I am installing solar panels, propane, stainless steel water tanks, stove, fridge, desk, bed, sink, shower. I put in windows, a door, sky lights. Almost everything I've installed and built is used and recycled. Before I go further, I mean my dear friend, brilliant and amazingly skilled womon Shazam is doing most of the work. I hand her the tools and question everything.

I am studying Spanish - Rosetta Stone, which I highly recommend. Make sure your public library has it on line! I also intend to do an Spanish immersion month when I arrive in Mexico.
