SHUT DOWN, TAKE OVER

This should be the mantra of the "occupy" movement. This should be the direction every thinking human being in this country should be working towards.

Everything we as a nation have, everything that is directing our economy, our institutions, our culture and society, is based in and driven by the Military & Prison Industrial Complex.

Wall Street is just a component of that Complex. Banks are just the means to move the spoils of wars, invasions, occupations of any land, any people, any country around the world that has the resources our corporations want and need to ensure they are the richest individuals and corporations, and we are the richest country in the world.

It is so very plain and simple to see. While our Military Industrial Complex explodes and conquers around the world, the Prison Industrial Complex enslaves and conquers here at home, ensuring Black and Brown people, and poor white people, are always victims, and White people are always the "HAVES".

Isn't the latter what this occupy movement is all about? A group of white men feeling their entitlement and privilege as white people slipping and seeing the potential of their becoming closer to the "HAVE NOTS"?

BUT this movement has gotten more folks out onto the streets and active for a longer time then any in a long time, except the immigration movement.

Those of us who see clearly MUST be at these occupies, nudging, directing, encouraging, whatever it takes, to raise consciousness and direct us to SHUT DOWN the Military & Prison Industrial Complex, and TAKE OVER creating the community, country we want to live in.
