Our hero Lynn Stewart INCARCERATED!

PLEASE take the time to write this hero amazon who has spent her life fighting injustice and protecting & fighting for the human rights of so many who needed her help. 

She was sentenced first for 28 months for representing a Muslim man, and then re-sentenced for 10 years because she didn't show 'remorse'.

This is such a gross attack on those who have the courage to stand and fight for the human rights of everyone under attack since bush and the repressive, right wing 'swing' of the u.s. PLEASE write to her! If you are in Texas or near, or are able to go there, PLEASE try to visit her.

I am so sorry to deliver this terrible news on the place of Lynne's incarceration. But the struggle for Lynne's appeal of her conviction and extended sentence continues. We cannot forget her. Lynne, at 71, has already served the first year of her 10-year sentence on frame-up charges of "conspiracy to aid and abet terrorism." She will get a one-year reduction for "good behavior,"

Lynne's act of "terror" was to have sent out a press release for her client, the blind sheik, Omar Abdel  Rachman. We will send along Lynne's new mailing list as soon as it's  known. She needs to hear from her friends and supporters. Contributions for travel and related expenses for family visits can be sent to:

It is official.  Our worst nightmares have become a reality.  Lynne is in one of the worst prisons in America, the place where they send our freedom fighters to die- Carlswell Prison near Houston, Texas. 

 

It will  require a form from Lynne, as soon as they allow it, to complete a request to visit her in Carlswell. In the meantime, please write, write , write.
