Maybe they really do support us!

We are all reeling! The permit the October 2011 organizers obtained for us to occupy Freedom Plaza from October 6th to 10:00pm last nite, has been extended for FOUR MORE MONTHS!

We know our Constitution is really our permit to occupy but, as you know, cities now try to make those of us wanting to exercise our Free Speech rights and our rights to hold our government accountable, obtain a city permit too.

This permit will allow us to occupy the plaza without risking arrest for occupying, thereby freeing us up to risk arrest for shutting down the Pentagon, or Congress or war profiteers or any other part of the Military Industrial Complex and END WARS NOW!!!

So start getting in gear! Start planning! We NEED you here! Come for a day, a week, a month, an hour! Stay until enough citizens of this country decide that ending wars is our number ONE priority in life!

Today we talked with a career military general who told us the only way we will end wars is if 500,000 - one half million people - come to join us at Freedom Plaza. He was serious. We asked him if he would be one of the 1/2 million and he said if 499,999 show up, he will be the 500 thousandth!

Oh well, still a coward - but at least he had the courage to speak with us!
