At Freedom Plaza to be continued
Marches, sit-ins, closing down Chamber of Commerce, General Atomics, Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. Lots of interacting with the public, both at the Plaza and around D.C.
Food not bombs has been feeding everyone. There's another "Occupy D.C." Wall Street action happening simultaneously at McPherson Plaza a few blocks away. We are trying to bring the anti-war message over to these 99% people, and include that message of money with our messages of protecting human and all life on the planet.
This plaza is raised up from the street about three or four steps, has a marble floor, and covers a very large city block. There are sections of grass along one side of the plaza and section in the middle back. Portapotties line the sidewalk at the west far end of the Plaza and at the east far end is the stage.
