Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Three white males (one a non-practicing Mormon) and another white womon show up for the racism meeting tonite. I am disappointed but not surprised. It is a great group and people share their experiences and commitments to combatting racism.

We decide to recommend we add a new hand signal, the time-honored one for "time-out", t-shaped hands, to bring whatever is happening to a halt if we hear something that is racist, sexist, homophobic, classist, name-calling.

We do not make a time for another meeting but it is a good beginning. We'll see what the G.A. decides!
