Bio-what???
After flashing twice, she left me on the bench & retreated around the corner 2 her computer.
Several seconds later, she called me over BY NAME: "Miss Joi" she said, "ur photos r ready".
Ufb - NOT.
And yes, I am and have been an activist. I've seen the police and military with cameras, filming in front of me or from rooftops. I've been arrested, fingerprinted, photoed & booked. I expect the government, military, police, 'home'land 'security: all can identify me - hopefully I've been that successful fighting capitalism/misogyny/racism wars.
But I don't expect a small business that takes passport photos in one corner and does nails in the opposite corner to have the ability to identify me simply from my eyes or face recognition.
When I left the business and entered the street, the warm sun, freshly washed air, the afterglow of the rain we so desperately crave, the soft breeze caressing my face, contrasted so violently with the knowledge of this violation of me, I wanted to be 95 years old, I didn't want to have maybe 30 more years of seeing what the humans of this country are capable of doing and will do - while the other humans of this country will accept or be crushed under these implemented means of churning out obedient walking dead people.
This glimpse into the future here already leaves me mourning for humanity, the rest of humanity that has no idea - or wants to have no idea - how far this handful of ugly humans will go to control everything on the planet.
