What is the difference between the u.s.ofa. sending our soldiers in to kill, terrorize, occupy Somalia and Russia doing the same in Ukraine?

Must be the acceptable thousands of miles we’re exporting war off to versus the unacceptable move into a bordering land previously part of Russia.
