Our Celeste – handcuffed and accused of harassing a 3 star general!!! All in a day’s work!
Today, Celeste was actually handcuffed with metal handcuffs and physically removed from the Armed Services hearings on the Iraq war budget! She had stood up to tell those mostly old white males to stop spending money on war, to bring our troops home NOW, and to stop talking of escalating war.
She was told if she cooperated and left the building, she would not be arrested.
Several minutes later, she was in the Rayburn building at the exhibit of the latest war toys technology and she happened to spy a 3-star General coming down the stairs, getting his picture taken. She slipped into camera view next to him, carrying her American Flag and a few Pink flowers, and wearing her “no $ for war” signs, “3101” and “667,000” numbers.
Heather Wiley abruptly placed her body in between Celeste and the soldier, and accused our elegant, soft-spoken Celeste of ‘harassing’ the huge general!
