Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

nevada city bound - to be continued

several young women from local college join with several cp'ers and peace & justice folks to make a big protest this day before the election.

if half the folks that pass us show out tomorrow, we will WIN! 99.9% positive reaction.

police chief walks by, being friendly good ole boy. he gets to the last pair of shoes & jokingly asks how much these will cost him? fury steels my tongue as i retort "a murdered iraqi civilian". he is abashed, turns red, and shuffles away.

we make a circle to end the protest. rae is very inspiring, we are so pumped up - we do natalie's exercise - everyone take a step in: this is the circle of activists - the ones who are going to work to end war. everyone take one more step in: this is the circle of organizers - the ones who are going to lead us into ending war.
