Blogging is a priority, and still I've got posts I've written and haven't published.
This morning was another bust at Jung. When I arrived, the young womon Sofia was at the desk and my friend Alan (yet another Alan) was no where in sight. I asked Sofia if I should drive around back to pick up the oil or stay parked out front.
She tells me there is no oil. I try to keep the disappointment out of my face, smile and say, yes, I was promised oil yesterday and told to come back today. I ask for the tall guy (because it is hard for me to say "Alan" the correct way) that was there yesterday.
She shakes her head and says he is not here today. Another young man comes out of the kitchen and explains to me that they didn't have time to change the oil yesterday. That they will change it tonight and I should come back tomorrow.
I am very relieved. At least it hasn't gone to someone else. I try to reassure him that it is totally fine and to just not give it to someone else.
I also realize I had this vision of asking Alan to pave the way at the hotel he used to work at. Maybe tomorrow...
At least this morning I don't have to worry about being late for class. I have class again tonight with Rebeca so I have all day to study and try to find oil.
