Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Speaking of drop dead gorgeous Latinas...

I sit outside starbucks at a round table, my feet propped up on an empty chair, pirating their "free" internet - free after you pay a mint for a cup of coffee, that is. Starbucks in Manzanillo is located right on the main drag of course, but on the side of a mini-mall.

Outdoor seating is limited to the side patio next to the mall parking, or a narrow strip in front of the store which borders and looms maybe 10 feet above the road and has better internet access.

My head is down as I am typing madly, trying to catch up on my blogging. If I was writing a scene from a movie - or half a movie as the best half didn't happen - this is what would follow:

I glance up distractedly as a sensuous voice says "buenas". She passes so quickly I can only see she is so cute and a dyke I'm (almost) for sure, and around my age.

I practically fall off my chair trying to put down my computer so I can get up and see where she's going, hoping hoping hoping she is stopping at the next store.

But alas, she has disappeared down the stairs without a backwards glance (which wouldn't have happened in the movie) and i can only hope she'll walk back by...

Since then, I've been practicing outloud "would you like to sit down?" which I think is "quierria (w/the accent on the 2nd i) sentarse?" Only I'll probably end up saying quiere sentarse cause there's too many rrrrrrr in quierria.

Shit, one of the only times I see an out, visible Lesbian on my Joiyssey and I'm tongue-tied, slow, and blink!
