Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

leaving town again - finally

Hi folks - the CodePINK truck & me have hit the open highway, once again! Time to check the pulse of the bowels of the nation once again! (Not to worry, Jan, I have my rubber gloves!)

I’m hoping to report mass insurgencies over the mountains, across the midlands, and thru the marshes.

I’m hoping to meet tons of folks ready to make 2006 the year we END war – beginning with January 16th: our “Call in PINK” & coerce arnie into signing AJR36 – in honor of MLK’s birthday!

Altho I’m excited about traveling and anticipate lots of positive changes, I’m sad to be leaving us during such an important juncture of the National Guard campaign. But national CodePINK has no funds to support the campaign so it’s off to the highways for me to try to make money that allows me to continue this work in CodePINK. We’ll also be launching a fund-raising campaign soon.

I’m thrilled so many more people are stepping up to the plate & I know I leave the National Guard campaign in tremendously competent & brilliant hands! We now have an AWESOME Hardcore NG Regional Working Group (within the Regional NG Working Group), and an AMAZING Leadership Team of Jan, Corrine, Aimee, Jen & myself!

And our AMAZON Caitlin will be in charge of the blossoming CodePINK office and the incredible activists that are coming through to make our work possible.

Now is the time to participate. November 11th, we’re planning an action & need all activists to step forward! Come to the October 19th Regional NG Working Group meeting at the office, 1248 Solano Ave, Albany 7-9p.m. – after the vigil, in Oakland 2116 Broadway; in San Francisco on Market & Ellis. Tragically our U.S. death toll will probably hit 2000 by then.

I’m hooked up with wireless so I’ll be haunting those free wireless cafes to transmit the rumblings & rantings as they come to me!

In pink peace, power, protest, participation, your sister activist & comrade, Suzanne Sam Joi
