Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Fuck the American Nitemare!

We MUST figure out how to 'give up' the american nitemare - as long as we are so committed, whether intentionally or not, as long as we pursue this nitemare, nothing will change in our country.

Because the nitemare was brilliantly created to make sure everyone has a vested interest in keeping this country the way it is, it was set up to be.

As long as we are single-mindedly focused on what we need to get, what makes the ‘good life’, what standard of living we need to secure for ourselves, we do not have to focus on where did all that come from?

How did we get the land we walk on? How did we get to build the houses, how did we get to pick the neighborhood, the schools for our children, the college or union or business for ourselves?

EVERYTHING we have we owe to the slaughter of human beings. EVERYTHING.

The first people were systematically, intentionally, and institutionally slaughtered and oppressed in order to gain control of this land for white people.

Africans and then Mexicans were the same. Laws and institutions were set up to intentionally benefit white people through the enslavement and deprivation of peoples of color.

Then since 1801, our military has been sent out to attack, conquer, and occupy the lands of others, as on the home front laws continued to be passed, institutions created and maintained to perpetuate the system.

This is one of the major reasons we cannot continue to pursue the “american dream”. We have to know, whoever we are, whatever we have, it is drenched in blood.

We MUST pay reparations. We must take our resources and return them to the peoples they were stolen from.

We must all be on the same level field, with no one having less then anyone else. This is the human intention, or should be.

How do we expect one iota of happiness or inner peace when we know we live in our neighborhood because the original people who lived there were slaughtered?

How do we expect any kind of ‘safety’, ‘security’ when we know that we can stock our refrigerators full any time of the day or nite while every 3000 people die of STARVATION every year in our country alone, while every 6 seconds a baby dies of STARVATION in the world?

How do we expect other peoples not want to ‘steal back’ our resources, when we know that 80% of the world’s grain does not go to feed those people but to feed the meat 25-60% of which we consume in this country, with only 4% of the world’s people.

How do we expect to make our country the best place we want to live in when we accept the ‘american dream’ as a viable goal and not a crucial tenant of the evil empire?

We MUST have those paradigm changes. We MUST see how our job supports the system of oppression; how the home we live in, the clothes we buy, anything that we buy new, anytime we don’t buy organic food, we are doing are little parts to maintain the system.

We MUST DISARM! First and foremost, take these fucking weapons away from these boys! There can be no peace, no safety for women and children, no calm, love, empowerment as long as these boys are running around the world selling weapons and using weapons on ‘others’ and their own peoples, on ‘others’ and their own mothers and sons. It is totally insanely horrific.

We MUST refuse to accept any form of physical harm to another human life, whether it is battery, murder, rape, torture – these are all anti-human behaviors and undermine our precious life on this planet.

And lastly, we MUST know that it is wrong to have more then any other human being on earth, whether it is more things or more access to things. We must level the playing field.
