Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

The Big Island

Tessie is determined to take us all to Hawaii so we catch this morning to SFO to try our luck flying out, first to L.A., and then to Kona. My heart stops for a moment as UCSF calls as the train pulls into the last stop, our stop.

It is only the nurse trying to set up an appointment for us with oncology - but they don't have the results yet, so I tell them we will wait for the results.

We fly standby without any hitches! Smooth sailing to Los Angeles; and then after 30 minutes, we're boarding the plane to Hawaii~!

On both flights, we are able to get three seats in a row. We haul organic food for Jasi, not any fresh veggies or fruit though - we will be able to get that in Hawaii.

Gloria picks us up at the airport and we head immediately up the coast to the ocean, where the sun gloriously sets on our naked salt-water blessed bodies, before dropping Gloria off at work and heading over the to the other side of the island where we will spend the next few days near Pele's mouth, the volcano.
