Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Break(ing)fast

I have fasted for 9 days - today I will break my fast.

I have be on a juice (and occasionally popcorn) fast. I begin my day with an ounce of chlorophyll mixed in water and a table spoon of ‘green food’ mixed in more water.

Some days I will make myself a decaf soy (unsweetened) latte – but I find I don’t drink hardly half of it.

Other days, I make air-popped popcorn with brewer’s yeast, garlic powder and flaxseed oil & munch on it occasionally. I make several pots of cleansing tea during the day. Sometimes I’ll blend some organic fruit and lots of water & sip on that all day too.

As long as I’ve been pretty sedentary, fasting has been easy. I’ve marched up my mountain ever few days, walked a couple miles here & there – but mostly I’ve rested, read, wrote, stayed inside.

Wednesday I traveled to S.F. for the culmination of the fast in the city. This was my first trip out since I began fasting. I returned home exhausted and less committed to fasting.

Yesterday, I had to make my deliveries and unload the truck – today I have more deliveries to make. I need nourishment. I will break my fast.

I will go out for Dim Sum - yeah!!!!
