Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Veggie oil triumph!

I’m up before the sun, which is late these winter days, so that by the time it’s light – 7am – I’m ready to prime the pump and continue filling my tanks. I’ve left the charger on my battery all day yesterday and last night so it’s up to 11.9 volts.
I figure out how to prime the pump – which includes detaching the hose and spilling more oil over the ground – but HALLELUIAH it works. I’m able to pump about 217 gallons before switching to another tote and pumping an additional maybe 25 gallons.
So I’m filled up and ready to return to Berkeley – but not until I visit an old friend and her 5 year old granddaughter!
