Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Beautiful to ugly, pride to shame

What a gorgeous beautiful morning on the plains here in Nebraska – it’s like everything around the u.s. – looks beautiful if you don’t look too closely. If you look closely you’ll see all the gmo corn – but it’s pretty much all plowed under now but even with this corn you can see old ears they didn’t even harvest.

Water is not destroyed here by fracking – well it might be – but it is agricultural runoff or toxic pesticides and all the other cides that’s destroying the water here so if you don’t notice the black plastic draped over water fountains and warning signs “Don’t Drink the Water” you might not know it’s toxic!

But of course now it’s fall, so there’s not that much runoff I guess & it’s quite beautiful.

Except this billboard pops up – weeds love your herbicide: try this one, it’s stronger. When I 1st saw it, I thought it was an anti-herbicide ad….grrrrr

Then there's the museum of military vehicles – should be call the hall of shame, they’re so ugly, so mean looking. We should be filled w/shame looking at the g’ddamn military vehicles, seeing their violence and destruction of human beings and the Mother Earth, instead of filled with that fucked up pride.
