Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

The final project - no matter what...

Installing another charger and converter is a major task today that allegedly should have taken two hours but we ended up working until 9:30pm - only to discover something is wrong as a red light is blinking slowly, indicating a battery is discharging...

Amber thinks maybe the device is faulty but we can't work any longer. Everything has been placed in the correct location, hooked up to the right terminals and boxes, and wired with the correct colors and gauges.

Tomorrow, I might have to unhook the positive and ground wires from the starter battery until we can figure it out - but it's not going to delay me leafin...it's gonna be tomorrow no matter what!

On the roof again...

It's another beautiful sunny day that began a little cloudy but now is clear.

Shazam has spent the past two and half hours up on the roof scooting around the edges, recaulking all the bolts and wire holes we made to mount the solar panels. Hopefully, this is all we'll need to do to take care of the leaks into the back of the box and the mini stream along the inner door of the camper!

She also removed the damaged screen and replaced it with a new screen where the closet rail poked through, and lastly figured out how to pop in the kitchen's screen where I had removed it to have it fixed.

Now off to Amber to mount and figure out how to wire the new charger that will draw electricity from the running engine during times when it is cloudy or raining, if I need - although since Amber has tighted down all the battery posts on the solar system to solar has kept its charge through all the cloudy, rainy days we've been gritting our teeth through: happy to have rain but annoyed to have soooo much rain during the day especially, not to mention how fuckin cold it's been...
