Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

So I've spent the weekend searching the internet, advertising on uship and craigslist, looking for someone to haul my truck. And lordy what a process that turned out to be. And the range of costs - the lowest $1400 the highest $4700. I'm told because of the height of my vehicle, they'll need a special trailer that drops down in the middle or else they'll be permits and licenses and who knows what else to charge for getting my baby here.

I find a very competent and friendly family-owned business located right there in Pharr Texas, a few miles from Rush Truck Center! Larry is able to go to Rush and measure the truck. He calls me and lets me know that he can haul her! I'm SOOOOOOO excited! And nervous. He's not concerned about the height or weight.

Another dispatcher, Cynthia, calls me and says she's a driver willing to haul her. I tell her I might have someone but if her driver wants to go look at my truck in the morning, I'll wait until I hear from her to decide.
