Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Dust storm runny nose

I'm soooooo sad. Neither of the brothers get up this morning to go to the crossing - and neither have told me about the change in plans. I cannot get ahold of the other staff either so I'm waiting with another batch of quesadillas and several bags of warm clothes to distribute.

My nose has been running fiercely since the horrific winds of this week and the fine dust swirling all around us and coating everything with a latte-colored film.

Including my lungs, I'm guessing.

I finally hear the truck starting up so I run out of my camper but Jorge is sick, on his way to the doctor...tearz. I let him know I will make chicken soup for when he returns.

But he doesn't return and I need to leave. I'm heading to the Organ Pipe Cactus National Park to camp for three days beginning tomorrow morning. I want to get close enough so that I can drive into the visitor center in the morning and rent a space.
