Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Stuck at the truck

I am stuck at the truck all day today. Guillermo and his helper have come and attached everything, taken the lids off the battery cells, and are trying to jump start the batteries again.

So the door is left open, as the wires come from inside the truck to the batteries. And so I am left to hang out in the truck or on the sidewalk or near the truck.

Fortunately the view is beautiful, a nice breeze is blowing, and unfortunately there is shade.

If this doesn’t work today, I might have to move to another much more sunny street.

As soon as the late afternoon comes, we detach the wires, and I continue recording the voltage readings every two hours. But at least now, I can head to the beach, get my tamales and coconut, and watch the sun go down, the moon come up, and the men tossing their nets into the ocean, catching fish!
