Why just Goddeses?

I happened to be walking with one of our male chosen family of my daughter's when I responded to something he said with "Thank the Goddesses".

To which he stridently insisted I should thank the gods also: "Why only the Goddesses? Why not thank the gods also, both gods and Goddesses?"

I laughed (just a little) and said there are enough people thanking the gods and just a tiny number of people thanking the Goddesses. I'm just trying to balance things a little.

He reluctantly accepted that, seeing my point, but obviously not on the same page - yet.

After a few moments I asked him if he also instructs people who thank god to also thank Goddess.

Now he's REALLY getting it.
