Do white people ever want to regain our humanity?

Sometimes it feels like a huge leap of faith to believe there was a time when white people embraced humanity and not racism, misogyny and war.

And now this is the country we built and maintain: not the lies we were fed and embraced protecting us, but the truths we are witnessing on the screen.

Of course the bottom line, white people, is ECONOMIC PARITY.

As the fierce, brilliant Nikole Hannah-Jones says Black people were brought here and kept here for economic exploitation.

The change we're working for HAS to be for ECONOMIC REDISTRIBUTION: REPARATIONS NOW!

"Attending college does NOTHING to mitigate the wealth chasm between Black and white people.

Black people with COLLEGE DEGREES have less wealth that white people who never completed high school."

Think about that white people.

How can we keep perpetuating the fuckin LIE that there is a formula to wealth that doesn't include skin color? It's the VERY MOST important ingredient in that formula for fucks sake.

Black wealth has been STAGNANT in this country for 70 SEVENTY years - that's my entire fuckin life time.

And then another fierce, brilliant womon Kimberly Jones meticulously lays out the reality to white folks with a monopoly game. She says pretend you play 400 rounds of monopoly and you are not allowed to win one game, plus everything you work for belongs to your opponent. Then play 50 more rounds and everything you win and build is then burnt down by your opponent.

Tulsa. Rosewood. Springfield. Ococe. Elaine. Slocom. Danville. Hamburg. Clinton. Vicksburg. On and on and on.

This is our legacy. This is the legacy of racism in this country that has allowed white people to become very very very rich. 

 

And the legacy that allows white people to think we are poor cause our eyes are trained on those white people at the very top of the heap as we ignore the people at the bottom we're scrambling over and standing on as we reach up.

Give it up white people! One white family has the wealth of 11 and 1/2 Black families. Find those families and share your wealth. NOW.

 

What is the alternative? How many Black womyn, men, children do we need to watch being murdered, thrown in jail, beaten, raped before we care enough to halt this violence? Have we not seen enough?

 

We MUST face the fact that EVERYTHING white people have in this country is because our ancestors murdered the people who were living here, stole and enslaved human beings from a totally other continent, and then proceeded to set up our institutions to protect white people and our riches from the people we stole from, murdered, and conquered. 

 

And the descendants of those ancestors continued insuring and building our wealth by sending our military (the men willing to kill others in order to get what we wanted) to conquer and loot over 140 countries in the world.

 

We white people MUST be the ones to stop this madness and stop it NOW or we will never recover our very long self-destroyed humanity.

 

And what can be worse in life than losing our humanity forever.
