Migrant deaths in Baltimore

The six workerrs repairing the bridge on I695 were all migrants from Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador and Mexico - all with wives and children, seeking a better life here, willing to work a job that's dangerous and low-paid, without seeking getting hit by a freighter.

It's the 'free' route around Baltimore that I usually take when in D.C. heading north, or from Philly, heading south.

My heart goes out to those men and their families.

Not only do migrants increase our country's wealth by 7 trillion dollars, they often take dangerous, low-paying, long hours jobs.
