Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Heading for the republican national convention

Here's an updated picture of the back of the truck. You can tell by the body count that it's not current, though.

On the road again!

To say I’m a little tired leaving on this trip is like saying gwb is a little dangerous to our world! I have been back in California for about 6 days but I have to head out again. It is a early to be heading for the RNC unwelcoming, but I’ve got a customer in Chicago who wants her stuff around the 15th so I must hit the road. Even though I left the Bay Area around 8:00p.m., I had 2 more pickups in California – one in Vallejo and one in Davis – so I’m just getting outta California around 1:00a.m.!!! I napped at our great rest stop in our beautiful Sierra Nevadas, before venturing back into the divided land of Nevada.
Folks in Nevada are either hysterically glad to see me or not – it’s the ‘nots’ that are distressing, but the ‘glads’ that keep me going.
Driving into Nevada early this morning, I was immediately greeted by two fuck you’s – not a pleasant way to begin traversing the state but by the end of Nevada, they were the only f.u.’s I got. It was seventeen resounding yeas to to nays!
