Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Something about the womyn, in my life!

In my life there are womyn who quickly and unquestioningly rise up to support my work. These womyn are my biological and chosen family. The other womyn who are strangers I meet randomly or facebook friends or comadres I’ve worked together with over the years, also support me and my work – with their support I find necessary and enabling me to continue with hope and energy, instead of being overwhelmed (at least for more than a moment) and discouraged wanting to give up.

Three such womyn I met today, providing me with such great energy and impetus to carry on.

One provided much need funds for a large cash donation to refugees crossing the Colorado River into Yuma, Arizona; one provided several bags of warm clothes she had been collecting since December from the “Buy Nothing” group she belongs to.

And this morning in the unusual Bay Area rain, I drove into San Francisco to collect half her tiny apartment of donations that she womonages to provide every time I’m in the Bay and leafin for the border!

Of course I would be remiss not to always remember my daughter, who is my treasured supporter, making sure I have her financial and resource backing waiting in the wings just in case!

Thank you is never enough measure of how these womyn that I know and meet provide the energy for me to continue working for real justice and freedom in our fucked up country.
