Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Ready, set, go - almost!

I’m actually exhausted today so I sleep in – but I’m also stiff and sore from lack of exercise so the first thing I do is walk the 1.3 miles to the Y and work out. Then I head to the Berkeley Bowl to stock up on veggies and supplies I’ll need in Texas.
There’s little organic food in southern Texas and certainly not at the great prices I can get it for here. Plus I need to make some healthy road food! So for the road I buy brussel sprouts and eggplant to roast, avocados & fixin’s for guacamole, and ingredients to make a couple jars of miso soup.
I spend the rest of the afternoon preparing road trip food before finishing the final new paint job on the bottom two panels and heading to Natural Grocers for popcorn in bulk, Kombucha that's on sale, and of course my dark organic Sjaak chocolate!
I’ve taken my time so I’m unable to leaf tonite. I still need to load the truck with my clothes and things that I removed in order to do the work on my camper. Plus I need to fill my water tanks.
So best case scenario, I’ll get out of town tomorrow morning!
