Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

We've made it!

Holymoly - We've arrived at Michfest only to line up about 7 miles away from the front gate - there are that many womyn in line! It will most likely take us 8 hours to get in but we're partying in line! Thank goodness it's not too hot and we're in the shade on a dirt road.

We've had a pretty uneventful trip, considering the fact we drove thru war-torn St. Louis, spent the day there in 90+ degree weather, and headed out as the sun was setting.

We didn't get any negatives (that I saw at least) and quite a few positives - especially around and close to the cities - but mostly ignored.

But as we passed the thousands of cars in this line waiting to get into this awesome womyn's festival, we got tons of positive support! I'm soooooo looking forward to this coming week even tho my heart is terribly heavy, the knowledge of the demise of our festival coloring everything.
