Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Returning from Junie's 69th birthday party

My dear friend and awesome activist Junie is dying - cancer.

I was so lucky to be able to go to Chico and visit her, hang out with her six amazing children, and say good bye to this kick ass womon.

This is the striking sunset that accompanied me back to the bay. I actually ran out of juice on my camera so I couldn't capture the final, brilliant reds accenting the clouds, but here is the beginning sunset:

It's a hippie!!!!

I'm so excited to meet a wonderful Missouri Mama, young hippie from Mo, traveling cross country in a camper, heading to Berkeley. I regret not having the time to find out more about her but my heart sure did warm, boil even, at the sight of her!

And she graciously allowed me to take her picture - even though I had no money to contribute!
