Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

Our womyn's caravan to Standing Rock

We finally were all loaded up, bodies and vehicles fueled and road-ready, by 9:30 last night. We drove about 120 miles before spending the rest of the dark hours at a rest stop on I5 in California.

There are four of us, each with roots cut off  by fleeing violence or fear and transplanted to u.s. soil: one from Cuba, one from El Salvador, one from Mexico, and one from the Holocaust. We are all united in our determination to face the severe and so very foreign conditions of North Dakota to kill the Black Snake and support the Water Protectors, a journey we all know will be individually and communally transformative and deeply treasured for the rest of our lives.
